Worf was used terribly by the writers. It seems like every time he got into a physical altercation it was against some alien / cyborg thing that the writers wanted to show was super powerful, so he would get tossed aside like a little child.
There's one episode where the crew all start turning prehistoric, word turns into some full eco skeleton killing machine and starts smashing the fuck out of the sickback door because he can smell dionnas pussy. That version of worf could be a champ champ.
I get what you mean. Worf goes around growling at people all the time like he's some beast about to wreak havoc, but often times the writers job him out a bit as if to say "oh shit, word can't beat him up so he must be nails"
I wish he had his moment where he just got to fuck everything up.

he was so hardcore he even managed to kill other changelings (their race name) which is near on impossible!
when they found him he just a gelatinous blob and they couldn't even tell it was a sentient lifeform, they performed tons of fucked up experiments on him which he endured just fine
