Basically they take the best elements of Spider-Man's character and give them to a person with Superboy's powers. I say Superboy because his dad is Superman. Saying anything more would spoil it, but let's just say it's a fascinating inversion of our expectations about Superman.
The comic is great. One of my all time favorites. The main character has one of the most satisfying arcs of any character in comics even though the series sort of ends abruptly.
For any who may not know, Robert Kirkman (the creator) is also the creator of The Walking Dead.
If I’m only going to start one comic show now would you say this one or The Falcon & The Winter Soldier? I’m coming off the heels of watching WandaVision and Zack Snyder’s Justice League over the past few weeks. What would you put next in the rotation if you were me?
Definitely this one. Falcon and Winter Soldier isn't great imo. Maybe it'll get better, but so far it's letting me down. This is vastly better. If you watched The Boys at all, you'll like this.

Yeah they've sped some things up, but it makes sense for a shorter series. I'm hopeful we'll get a few good seasons because I want to see a slow cooked Viltrumite War.
I haven't read the comic, but I am ALL IN on the series.

Two episodes in. Story is interesting, cast is great, and the animation is very comic-like. I’m enjoying it but the audio is the worst. The voices are so quiet and the effects are so loud that I’m constantly adjusting the volume.
I noticed this today too on a rewatch and thought I was tripping, but I thought it was because I was watching on my playstation. It's good enough to just watch in subtitles if need be! Or alternately skip it all and read the comic because it's also just so great.
The audio levels on Netflix and Amazon are different. And very reduced on Disney. I watch TV on my kindle and have to adjust accordingly depending on what app I use.
However,
I noticed it first because I have red dwarf on Netflix but also have it on prime. The difference in sound if I flick between the two it apparent. Disney app for most shows I put up to near full volume
i watch TV with subtitles on, I didn't even notice.

General - INVINCIBLE
On Amazon prime. its actually very good once you get past its a graphic novel as a cartoon. Has a stellar cast. well worth ten mins of your time if you have a passing interest in graphic novels ever. im very impressed. The Boys level impressed.
