Completed my final house. Officially shutting the doors on JWD Construction. Somewhat gutted, took a lot of work, sweat and blood to get here, but I'm looking forward to the future.

I've got some braised brisket in the oven and a bottle of small batch bourbon, hopefully that'll be enough to cheer me up!

Washed this morning, sold this afternoon. Trailer and tools were sold on saturday.
Sad saying goodbye to the stuff you worked so hard for.

No need to kill moles, they are useful in nature, and can be in your garden.

You can always just drive em away. Unless you are lazy and selfish...

I tried all last summer to drive him away. No luck. Fucker ruined the yard. I couldn't even mow without spending an hour flattening out his tunnels and mounds.

When he returned this Spring, I held a trial and he was found guilty of property destruction. Sentenced to death.

Maybe we have better products / methods for that.

Killing moles here can land you a fine for up to 50k€.

I have a dog you can borrow, she'll kill the mole within a day. She's great for that.

WTF? That's crazy. It's practically a national sport in the suburbs over here. I'm in the country now and didn't want to whack this dude but he was elusive and very destructive.

What are your deterrent methods? I can give them a try as I'm sure I have plenty more of these guys around.

Grab a case of beer and a rifle and wait for him to pop up.

You can speed things up by shoving a hose into his lair.
