You got “Sex Chickened”. It’s the Canadian alternative to skunked. I hear it’s frustrating.

I blame the temp. It was about 40 degrees this AM. Chilly.

I was only out there for about 30 minutes. Just killing time before the wife woke up.
Took the son out this morning. He said you suck, he caught a catfish.
He also threw all the shad back I caught for bait, so we still have some learning to do.

Very cool, always wanted a pond/small lake.
If I had a pond I would plant trees and all types of stuff including habitat, maybe a turtle island or log in the middle...I used to work crews doing stuff like that, was pretty rewarding
How big are the crappie? Any blue gills for the bass to eat?
Not too big. Maybe 5 to 6"
Haven't spotted bluegill yet.
Bass are big, so they are eating good.
So this is completely off the cuff and I've never seen this pond. But you need to remove a bunch of crappie. At those sizes I bet there's a fuck ton and they aren't growing to how big they should be.
