There's a reason I chose the word "perceived". God, that card was a steaming pile of shit.
Kind of a ridiculous comment, considering that before tonight he'd seen the third round three times in his career and won all of those fights comfortably.
And before tonight, all three of his losses came early when he got slept by one shot during a heavy exchange. This is the first time that he's ever lost a decision or even come close to it, and it's the first time that he's lost a fight due to anything other than getting faceplanted early.
So by "if he can't put people away early he usually loses", really you mean "this is the first time in his career that a Cody fight has gone past five minutes and he didn't get the W."

I'm not a WMMA hater, but Esparza annoys the fuck out of me. Her fighting style is boring, and it's amazing the sheer charisma void that she is. When she's getting introduced in the cage and she's just standing there dead-eyed and looking completely gormless, for some reason that just enrages me.

Card was definitely garbage though. I get why Esparza was the co-main - former champ, divisionally relevant fight etc - but Hermansson was the real co-main for me.

Out of respect for him, and him being dead, I don't wanna really think about it..I will just say this, I think I can beat anybody that can't stop my grappling...I worked and Fought for ELITEXC when kimbo, was the man and really hold those times dear to me heart.. r.i.p to the legend.. He was much bigger than me when we were fighting bk in those times and had he landed I'm in big trouble.. Me now being 220 and wrestling with college Wrestlers and training guess I would fare much better now if he was alive in a MMA fight..@ECC170 you reckon you could've beat kimbo up?
I know when I was in shape and training I was a top 150 Welter and was top 100 lightweight when I fought 55 in my prime.. That's just my opinion and have trained with elite guys I always did more than hold my own and am known for my uncanny strength, TDs and great passing ability with a really good mount.. Team Gary Myers Wolf pack was a really good team and us being a Miletich affiliate bk in the day attests to that.. Kimbo Would've slept me in my prime at 155-170.

Nah your right, it's obviously just a bad joke i made, people used to use it repeatedly on the UG and Sherdog. What you said actually makes alot of sense regarding how he used to fight, my opinion was simply meant on his last fights (2 fights with TJ).
In all honesty I really hate people who judge others on their number of post, so I guess i just said it sarcasticly.

No dramas here. I talk pretty blunt and am fairly autistic, so I tend to bluntly challenge statements that are presented as facts, which are actually not facts. ?
Cody definitely has a tendency to get mad and treat every fight like a phone booth shootout where if both are still standing after two minutes, then both get an L on their record. When he fights smart, that's when he has the most success. His performance against Cruz was elite and showed tremendous discipline and fight IQ. He looked like a true ATG in there that night.
