Right and that sounds good and all........ but it doesn't actually hold up.

There are serious issues with objectivity at the New York Times.

They do not begin to approach the problems with, say, Fox News.

Which is why every single study - bar none - indicates that people who primarily get their news from right wing sources, are the least informed voters. You may not love that reality. But it IS the reality.

Hunter is a disaster, in the sense that he's a bit of a mess who obviously doesn't handle the spotlight well.

He does not have an office in the West Wing, he isn't conducting US foreign policy over secret, private WhatsApp chats with that cunt MBS (while the actual Secretary of State is shut out of the loop, mind), and he isn't overseeing the federal corona response.

So, Hunter Biden doesn't reside in the same universe as Jared Kushner, corruption/nepotism wise. The two sides are clearly, obviously, objectively NOT the same.

Which of the two has been name-dropped more often on here though, I wonder.

No I agree with you in the sense that if you get your news from far Right media you tend to write off a lot of stuff. If you get your news from the far left media you just blame the right and the far right media for all the problems in the world. I'm not saying I'm completely accurate on most of the stuff because I know I'm not. I'm saying you should take both into consideration and make your own judgment because relying on someone else's judgment is not reliable.
