I mean, big Mitch is now saying flat out that once the Republicans get the Senate, they will not vote to confirm any SCOTUS judge the Dems send over. That's opting out of participating in a democracy. Same with their shit about moving in electors who will vote to certify an election loss, and purging blue-chip conservatives like Liz Cheney for openly stating that Trump lost fair and square. This is a death spiral for a two-party democracy.
As far as Biden goes, from the moment he declared his entry into the race I was saying he is too old. I don't want ANYBODY in their 80s to be in government. Not Biden, not Pelosi, not Maxine Waters, not Bernie Sanders. And yes, there are serious concerns about Biden's mental state - just as there are about Trump's.
But Trump and the personality cult is objectively NOT the same as the normal Democrat cronyism, out-of-touchism and general dysfunction. What the Republicans have turned into is flat out scary. Wasn't the Capitol insurrection enough to open your eyes? Did you need that mob to have gotten to the Congresspeople and executed them? They were only a few minutes away.
