It only takes 28 days to walk from Sacramento to Texas? That’s being able to go 24 hours non stop? Holy shit, that’s a long fucking time.
Insane huh?

The book is a children's book designed to teach kids what money is, the history of it, the difference between richness and wealth, investing etc.
And putting things in perspective.
Coming to terms with that much debt, and that what we think is rich compared to the national debt is a pittance.
You remember back in the day stacking bands and being proud.
Then visualize hiking for a month past $100 bills, if that much even physically existed.
Pretty shocking.

What part of Texas? I just did the math for Sacramento to Houston and it was 20.1 days. That’s at a rate of 4mph. I guess I should have asked, what rate are your hypothetical people walking?

I’m guessing the speed it takes to make it in 28 days

In other words, you have no sources, links, citations, education- formal or otherwise- experience or training in the fields you post about regularly here. That makes you a bullshit artist.

It wouldn't be so bad if you framed your outlandish opinions as opinions, but you're a douchebag about everything.

I have a spot for you on my ignore list. When you learn how to converse like a big boy, you can come out of time out. I'm sure others here will let me know when that happens.
You should be able to refute his claims easily then.

If you are interested then dig into it and prove him wrong.

No offense, but your post is purely emotional from what i can tell.

I still luv ya Assman.

I think the normal walk is between 2.3-2.8 mph, so split the difference at 2.5, there's your other 8 days.

It’s good to question things

sparkuri @sparkuri please show me your math

Ok, the common denominator of both 20 & 28 is 4.

5/7= 74%
2.8/4= 70%

So 2.8 mph, which is about the average pace walk.
Of course that can slow down after a few days of looking at $100 bills.
Then we're into what I call "suicide pace", which is where you end up stealing all the hundreds you can carry, landing on the Vegas strip, losing it all & dying on the sidewalk of overdose, with 3 surgical masks on.

What was the count on the pitch? I rarely swing on the first pitch or if it’s 0-1
Rarely swinging at no ball one strike count is a bold strategy.

Ok

$1,000,000 = 43"
28,000,000,000,000÷1,000,000=
28,000,000 ×43 = 1,204,000,000÷12' = 100,333,333÷ 5280 = 19,000 miles

It seems I'm going to have to edit the book.
This is why we have state-sponsored fact-checkers like @Lars Wintermute @peter_weyland and Facebook.

But this makes for a much better analogy.

At 28 trillion in debt making 19,000 miles of $100 bills, 19,000/341=56'ish.

And so we have 56 separate stacks of $100 bills, and stack them each 341 miles up until Starlink satellites orbit and hit.

Our national debt stacked, is 0.000204 astronomical units.

Fun fact I did recently on a monetary book I'm collaborating on:

If you took the United States debt in $100 denomination & stacked it in Sacramento, then your stack fell over, you'd have to drive to Houston Texas to find the other end; or walk 28 straight days without stopping.
Collaborating on a book? An Amazon Direct I'm guessing.
