I have Guatemalan dudes working for me and they are perfectly legal - and they refuse to do anything that has involvement with the gov't or registration - including healthcare that they are eligible for.
Also - Had no idea Guatamalans and Mexican didn't get along. Like...AT ALL.
So they all want the vaccine but are afraid to get it?
I don't know that they want it.
But I know that even if they did, they wouldn't be comfortable signing up for it. Could be language barrier. Could be distrust in gov't. Could be both.
Not saying it's warranted. But it's how the guys I know are.

that is not true mexicans and Guatemalans get a long well and actually marry each other a lot. this is pretty much made up. I have bever seen seen a Mexican and a Guatemalan never get along there is zero reason actually for them not to like each other. maybe cubans and mexicans dont get a long a bit but it isn't that serious
The shop is mostly Guatemalan. I've hired a Mexican on 2 separate occasions. Both times there were issues and it didn't work out. I brought it up on a national conference call and was told "Yeah. That can be an issue." Basically the hook in that Green Day song "You gotta keep em separated"
