It did, but I played the Beta with Oboe and we both agreed that it's a nice change in pace for the franchise. The future theme may seem silly, but it's pretty fun, being that there's still normal weapons and not futuristic heat rays and shit.
Call of duty is what is wrong with the gaming industry. Recycled garbage passed off as gold. the worst thing about it is that it has influenced the rest of the industry where they wont take risks on innovative games but just want cookie cutter cod lite games instead. Pretty fucking sad. Its like the zuffa of gaming.
I would have agreed with you just a few short years ago, but they're doing what sales. As long as people buy, they'll keep this trend up. Other companies are following because they see the numbers. I've learned to just enjoy the games for what they are.

They have these new single player ranks. I just popped back in 2 days ago and i can't play comp till i level single rank. I think it may have gotten rid of a lot of cheaters though? I lost all of my skills and will probably end up in the silvers lol

Based on my brief experience so far, I am disappointed that when you split screen so two people can play online at once it puts black bars on the side of the screen and makes the screen pretty small. I feel like I need binoculars to see anyone on the screen
