Interesting timing.
Notice Panama again escapes unscathed lol.
I'm not very familiar with Central Americas grid but do know that 6-7ish years ago I was in talks with BEU(Belize Electric Utility) and a British firm about a PM position commissioning a new combustion turbine facility. At that time Belize was importing a sizable amount of power from Mexico. Not sure if there are heavy transfer paths between Mexico & other countries in Central America but if there are, it would likely be their N-1 contingency (normal minus the single largest contingency). Supposed to be able to operate as such to lose the single largest contingency & return ACE (area control error) to 0 within 15min. Have a suspicion they are a bit "lax" in certain areas, could be completely wrong though.

lax is a word I'd use conservatively too.
Good to have a fellow sparky here, especially in the large distribution field.

Belize has quite a few Edison expats.

What area of the trade are you in? I’m currently a generation dispatcher(shift supervisor). Used to be transmission operator & power plant operator.

Just an 01 journeyman.
I's say my work was probably 80% commercial and 20% residential, industrial, and service.
I wanted initially to work as a lineman, but at the time there was little-to-no work.
Then wanted to work at a powerplant on the Columbia River, but those were shutting down.
Now I'm currently studying for construction managent.
But I saw RMenergy and it took me back to my training days studying RMS.

Sorry for the late response, brother called.

There was a posting for a power plant operator on the Columbia River just a week or two ago. Combustion turbine facility. About 30-45min from Astoria.

My little brother is about a year or two from retirement in the army. Trying to get him to take a gig at BPA in that same area.

If you’re still in the greater Portland area there’s still quite a bit of opportunities that pop up regularly.

Found the posting. Trainee starts at $42/hr

Appreciate that.
My interest in this position was 20 years ago as a young apprentice through about 10 years ago, and in Wash.St. where the license is from Coulee City to perhaps the tri-cities and a bit beyond.
Since then my state has corralled its industry by terminating all reciprocal license states, 16 states iirc.
Now I'm trapped so to speak.

Crap man. That’s a reason why I got my NERC RC. Can go anywhere in N America with it.

The OP's source, Based Underground, seems to have moved on from this event. They're now doing the Lord's work, warning us (without evidence, surprisingly) about all the Presidents who have been murdered for opposing vaccines:

Three Presidents Who Opposed Covid Vaccines Have Conveniently Died, Replaced by Pro-Vaxxers
"Coincidences" always seem to favor the globalists.

We took a lot of heat last week for publishing an article speculating that Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated to usher in vaccines into his country. By “heat,” I’m not talking about the standard trolls or Twitter DMs. The site was hit by a massive wave of hack attempts that failed miserably. Praise God and thank you to my security firm!
The attacks are likely to ramp up after this article is released as it details the events surrounding two other world leaders who happen to have died to allow for Covid vaccines to be brought into their countries. Nobody other than Free West Media is covering it thus far; I searched even the fringiest sites I could find for a hint of speculation and it was notably missing. Maybe they don’t know. Yet. Maybe they’re fearful of the same types of attacks we suffered. Either way, we’re ready to spread the word.

"I searched even the fringiest sites I could find for a hint of speculation, and it was notably missing..... either way, we're ready to spread the word."

So here it is anyway. Don't need facts - don't even need speculation from fringe conspiracy garbage blogs. Just pump it out there, and sparkuri and co will pick it up and run with it.

Yeah....... this site seems very reality-based and trustworthy. Definitely a good source for those who want to avoid that damned Fake News!

I love clicking on the twitter feeds of the morons who write this kind of garbage. Here's JD Rucker's pinned tweet, at the top of his page:

Also, simultaneously - Biden has senile dementia and is a doddering, empty-headed husk who doesn't know where he is or what he's doing.

This one from CatTurd was certainly worth retweeting as well, because what an intelligent point! How can the scientists possibly answer this? They can't!

Gee, this source seems very fact-based, non-partisan and trustworthy.
