I grew up with a Labrador retriever, and they're very sweet. Great with children. As a toddler I probably toddled on her back, pulled her tail and ears, and she never bit or complained much.
Just a great dog. She lived until we were both 14. She was a huge part of my life, in my formative years. Dogs make people better IMO.

He’s a ton of breeds. Chihuahua, Cocker spaniel, terrier, lab, retriever. Probably some more. I’d take this “breed” forever if possible.

I grew up with a border collie. Very smart dog. However it used to turn into a whore when it was in season and try to wear handbags.
There is a loyal breed, somewhat rare that is a mix of cocker spaniel and labrador. They call it a spanador. Absolutely remarkable.
I’m a sucker for Great Danes any day of the week. This was from when we first got her, looking at her now, she’s filled out really well. ?

my cousin loves Great Danes, she's had several.

I love them. Described commonly as clowns in a bodybuilders costume. Great size to come with me to work and shit.
