I agree that the pressure will be different for Aldo but you would guess that he should be forced to train for this and put himself on uncomfortable situations in training......you don't have a 10 year streak for nothing

This. The disrespect people are showing Aldo is disgusting. This guy has beat the best and has been doing it a long time. Conor beat some cans and a top guy on two weeks notice because zuffa didn't want Conor to fight a top guy like Frankie who would be ready and would've won

I would normally agree, but porier is pretty damn good and mendes looked out of shape but made a mistake trying to submit him, but he did beat both of them.......makes this fight very interesting and I'm in and invested. I want Aldo to win but still will be happily watching.....
Dustin is top ten at best and Chad was def out of shape. I'm invested also but Aldo is a different animal
After watching McGregor get repeatedly tagged by Mendes, I think Aldo would have won that fight. I still think Aldo might win, and even if he doesn't, he is going to put hands all over McGregor.
Conor has a good base, his punching fundamentals are fantastic. His sense of distance and movement is second only to Jon Jones, and he understands combat on a level that most fighters never reach and almost none practice. That said, Aldo's offense is much stronger than McGregors defense. McGregor will bring the fight because he has to in order to win.

I say that with hindsight on my side. A healthy Aldo with a full camp against a severely injured McGregor would have been extremely one sided.
D
