kids these days are so entertaining. I get kids like this sitting outside a local store by me and they sit there with their straight caps on and I walk up with my old Texas longhorn extra curved bill on my hat......they look at me, I look at them and because I don't back down, they wilt away into the little bullies they try to be.

It's such a weird provocation, like a white person saying it is assuming the black person is or has to be cool with it, which reveals arrogance. But if the black person gets understandably pissed, that's the "thug" trap. Or the white person gets hurt feelings that they're somehow not the one white person hip enough to generational atrocity to be allowed to use it. White people dont need to say it. You would have to be a dick, This guy was clearly a drunk asshole. And needed a check (which he got), but the n word only a minor part of that.
I just think it's completely counter productive and bullshit to treat black people as so incompentantly weak that they can't function properly and lose all emotional control and cause physical harm to fellow human beings because of a verbal slur.

Many races around the world have been exploited and treated like dogs, only one race though, I can think of have a special word that both them and the other races have the assumption that they will get worked up into a violent frenzy at the breath of a single word. This isn't good for anyone's culture.
Why can't we expect black people to act like everyone else when they're insulted but not threatened, and just shake their head and call them an ashole back and keep walking?

A word(s) is only powerful if you allow it to be.
With that said, as someone who grew up in a predominantly black area and who's most friends are black, I, out of respect wouldn't throw that word around. If You were to use the word "nigger" or any other racial slur at a person you can damn well bet you better be ready to swing for the bleachers and guard your grill because you damn well deserve to lose your fronts. Go s for everyone regardless of color no race gets a pass.
