Question for the community…
Hypothetically if the powers that be were to outlaw political threads on this forum, how would it impact your TMMAC experience?
Would you be upset and feel like this place was limiting your freedom of expression? Would that cause you to post less or spend less time here?
Would you be relieved that there would be less bickering and negativity? Would not having constant political arguments improve your relationships here and make you more likely to engage?
Would you spend the sam amount of time here but maybe focus more on other topics, such as MMA or other passions of yours?
Is the ample opportunity to engage in political debates a reason you like TMMAC or a reason you avoid it?
There is so much passion in those threads but they seem to do more harm than good. Rarely does anyone convince another member to change their stance on an issue, but we regularly see members get pinked and end up hating each other.
How would the hypothetical scenario of banning political threads impact your experience here and if you were given the chance to decide their fate, what would you do about those types of threads?
