Does it work without being grounded all the time?
I remember all the criticism for a couple years there but I haven't followed it and don't really have the background to know how much of the criticism is real or just false.
I don't know. I interviewed a tech from f-35 years ago and he was a right cunt. He said the whole program was a hunk of shit. Like I said tho my understanding is that the thing is an absolute beast now it works and it kills everything at red flag. Iirc they stopped doing news on red flag now it works.
It's a fancy pants plane, but I imagine quite moody. A lot of systems all very complicated and run a built in test upon startup. There will be a master network known as a mission computer governing them all and if there's reported issues it will say nah fuck that.
Most of these issues are likely to be software glitches, and while annoying, until they get sorted out you gotta take precautions if an issue flags up. And given the price. Plus the fucker started killing pilots.
I've not really heard about it for a couple years now.
