isn't it a law to treat anyone at the ER regardless of if they have insurance or are a legal citizen but they want to do shit like this?

I'd like to believe my wife is going to ask if it's ok for her to bring another girl into our bed. Neither fantasy is reflective of reality though.

DeSantis is at least equally despised as he is loved and many local jurisdictions have enacted mask mandates in absence of a statewide one.

And guess where the highest per capita hospitalizations rates are? That's right, red counties with low vaccination rates and few to zero local laws mandating indoor mask wearing.

No one's being refused treatment.

I have 2 vents and three patients. One will die.
What criteria should you use to choose the two the get the vents?

Don't overrun the healthcare system if you don't want to have to consider these terrible decisions. This is the reality right now.

give it to whoever needs the most. i guess if you're a doctors you have to make that call in a situation like that. or get more vents.

that sux for the one who will die but i mean shit... that happens to troops in war. shitty situation happens in a serious crisis

you can't say it's just because they're unvaccinated. there are many factors why you might catch the virus and why you might have the severe symptoms.

also have to consider red counties in rural areas, more diabetes and heart disease

If this were the case, we wouldn't be seeing such a sharp increase in vaccinations after the arrival of Delta.

Here's another reason your "people want to be free and catch covid" argument lacks merit - Palm Beach County Schools, the 5th largest school district in the state, recently changed their mask policy from voluntary opt-out for all students with a signed form to medical opt-outs only.

When parents were able to opt out, you know how many did? Six percent. So 94% sent their kids to school with masks on. Finally, with high community transmission and after having sent 1,400 kids home to quarantine, the school board realized they were risking the health of too many children and families just to keep 6% of parents happy.

So no, people would not rather be free and catch covid. No one is arguing for a complete lockdown, but if we had statewide, common sense mitigation policies, we wouldn't be in the position we're in now. New York's population is just below ours and they don't have even half the problems we're having.

Oxygen is being used to keep covid patients alive in hospital. Those patients are almost entirely unvaccinated. A+B=C

literally in the article, the sentence before the one you quoted.

"OUC has used the same liquid oxygen to treat the water supply for years. The process is called ozonation. Liquid oxygen takes away the contaminants and the sulfur smell."

they use LO2 to treat the water, but so much is being consumed by COVID patients there's not enough left to keep the water from being shitty.
so they're lowering the consumption of water to make more LO2 available for COVID patients.
