With this big hullabaloo about IVM, I think this is one of the main points for many. I don’t think it’s even about IVM being a legit medicine, or if some doctors are prescribing it as a treatment for Covid. It’s based on the fact that people are buying it from farm stores, hence the “for livestock”. I didn’t interpret that as it only being medicine for animals, just that people were buying medicine off of a shelf where it was intended for use with livestock, and then self treating. But I dunno, that’s just my been take away.
if I was sick and my physician gave me IVM as part of my treatment, I’d have no problem taking it. But personally, I wouldn’t take it out of a farm store and try to treat myself.
as far as it’s efficacy for treating covid and whether or not is should be used more, that’s a whole other issue I don’t feel qualified to discuss.
I try to stay away from participating much in these threads because it always ends up in a pissing match (I’m not directly referring to you or I, just in general) , and I just get tired of all the bickering. So that’s my one covid post for the day ?
