Holly Holm's strategy for victory

I just had a vision while browsing through threads on another forum - not the UG, that place is where brain cells go to die and since I only have 2 cells left I can't afford to lose them.

Any way, I think Holm is going to go right after Ronda as soon as the fight starts - Wand style (except with actual boxing technique). I think she's going to immediately push forward and throw punches in bunches, sorta like Joanna Champion. I don't think Ronda is going to be out smarted by this tactic but Holm has a chance to land something that might win her the fight. Nobody has backed Ronda up yet. I see Holm being the first to do so.

Holm is a smart fighter who trains with a good camp and always fights with a game plan. She has to know she's not going to be able to jab and run for 5 rounds and win on points. Her only way of winning is to be aggressive.

Imagine how crazy it would be if Holly somehow put it all together And upset rousey? I think hold is a legit prospect but like I've said in the past she isn't ready yet Nd I think that was the whole point of this match up to knock off Holm before she gains momentum , that being said the UFC has been home to bigger upsets considering holms pedigree and training camp it wouldn't be as huge an upset as say like lauzon vs pulver is gsp losing to Serra, like @Cerberus mentioned its entirely possible Holm could win I just don't see it happening just yet. I really hope Holm sins just to mix the MMA world up but I doubt it will happen

Yea I don't know how it's calculated. Holly throws a lot of jabs with no intention of landing just to keep distance. Maybe those factor into the low accuracy. Also strikes on the ground might be calculated in that as well and Ronda has significantly more than Holm and it's hard to miss a target you're on top of.

I think the opposite; Her best strategy imo IS to 'use the jab and stay on the outside/run for 5 rounds and win on points'. If she can stuff the TD and make Ronda frustrated that she is forced to stay on her feet I think Ronda will crumble and Holm can pick her apart.

i don't think holly can control the pace to make it slower than the faster person wants to go. know what i'm saying?

So you think Holm should take a page from Gus. Hit and run like hell. It might work to frustrate Ronda but even Gus had to defend some take downs. If Holm can't defend being taken down, I don't know what chance she has besides like I said, going all out in the 1st minute and trying to catch Ronda by surprise.

The only person to have a glimmer of success against Ronda was Tate and I think it helped that it made it out of the first. I can't see anyone in her division surprising her with a blitz like Cat tried and having success. I think be patient and circle her ass off and rely on the jab to keep her away and hopefully frustrate her into making an error. I also have no idea on Holly's TDD but if she can keep her hips away it might be better than way. Either way, I can't see how this gets out of the first.

I also think she needs to hold her at distance, frustrate her, and pick her spots. But I don’t think she will be able too. Ronda will clinch it up and go from there, unless she tries to box it out a while. And we will see how that goes.
Either way, Holm is more dangerous than Bethe, but this matchup is to soon for her to win in my opinion as well. Her training camp sounds promising, but, I don't think it will be enough.
What I am hoping for though is, that this fight goes on for a while, and Holly will be able to learn a lot. Then become better and be able to challenge her seriously down the road. I mean, at this point, nobody in the division is able to make you ready for Ronda, except Ronda.
Getting thrown to her might not be a bad thing after all.
