That's okay. We can't all be right all the time. Glad you could defer to my genius post and realize you're wrongness. That where's that pecker?
Well, you could say the highways themselves alone are great. Until you drive then and realize it's the people using them, where I drive the speed limit is pretty much a reccomendation for the minimum speed of travel, people literally race to the next stop light which... unknowingly actually makes traffic worse.

It's amusing when one of these idiots gets caught out not even reading the shit they post.

I mean you know that he won't ever check any sources for any of his stupid bullshit - that's a given - but is it really too much to ask, that he reads his own bullshit before rushing to spam it here?

??
Go jackoff to your daily postings about the Capital riots goof...

I have to cut in here. Even if it isn't real, they faked it and that would be really, really hard.
I am kinda making a joke, the smrt people of society could easily get themselves to the moon. The rest of us were far to dumb even though I have this device that literally ties me to any information that I may need to find I've been Kardashined down to having to have a constant reminder set on my device to notify me I need to breath

The majority of today's frustration is coming from the situation I found myself in last night, coworker of my wife had a positive exposure, she was with a vaccinated person who has tested positive Thursday evening, still came to work Friday, her also vaccinated believed that because she was vaccinated she couldn't spread it

I have no problem with vaccination efforts sans mandates...
How do you think Denmark got to 80%?

In late May, the Danish government presented the passport app featuring a QR code and a green bar if the person has been vaccinated twice or recently tested negative. A paper version also was available. People either had to scan the code or flash it before entering an airport, a harbor, a train station, a hairdresser or an eatery.

I hope that all of healthcare, the military, And once fully authorized schools are part of the mandates.

Just like they've been for every other contagious disease that we have a vaccine for decades.

So if you're waiting for a covid test result, you need to self isolate until your test results come back negative, or if you're positive 10 days from onset of symptoms. However, if someone in your household is vaccinated or can not be vaccinated they are not required to self isolate from the party waiting for test results or to quarantine.

Can someone explain to me how this makes sense?
Trust the science.

C'mon man, it's 9/11.
Now is NOT the time for conspiracies.

Vaccine mandates for schools don't make any sense from a science or data standpoint.

*Edit: I'm referring to covid vaccines.

That just simply isn't true. It's not been true for the past and it's not true now.

You're going to now talk about the mixed of data on transmission. But the date is quite clear that Even before boosters and even with the Delta variant while peak viral loads end up similar, you quickly reduce transmission levels and number of infections compared to unvaccinated individuals. That is if you're unvaccinated you get infected More likely, in comparison to infections non-vaccinated classroom will have significantly more sources of infection, and those that are infected in said classroom will transmit the virus for a longer period of time.

Vaccines reduce individual risk.
They more importantly for your conversation here they reduce the risk to a population.

Imagine they’re forced everyone who was in contact with someone who had to get tested to get locked down? Sounds like a dumb idea to me.

The rules around testing are really not appropriate for the outpatient population and encouraging testing.

In a medical setting if I'm testing you it's because I have suspicion that you're positive for something. In that case you treat it as a potential risk until you get your negative result.

This is fine thinking if you want to tell somebody to take those personal precautions, but the populace isn't all doctors. They don't have a good way to determine pretest probability and suspicion. You'd like to encourage them to go get tested as a precaution. But if you set the rules that you need to be penalized until the slow testing comes back, people are going to just try to hide out until it declares itself and they have more pretest probability and suspicion.

Just nod and tell him yes, absolutely, he is completely correct and there is nothing more to be said. Easier that way.

We've been told by our public health officials that there isn't significant classroom transmission and statistically children very rarely have serious covid related outcomes and that is what informed out reopening plans. Ie, In the city I live in with a population of 1 million people 0 people under the age of 29 have died of covid.

Im not worried about the death of children from coronavirus in the classroom.

They aren't the only people involved here. And death isn't the only outcome.

I used death as the ultimate example, but they have less negative outcomes on the whole as well. If you're talking about mandatory vaccination of staff rather than the entire school it's a different story.

Children don't live in a bubble though, do they. They have parents and grandparents who they live in close quarters with.
