seeing that in person would be intense. seeing that in the wild would be the highlight of my life.

zoo's are a hard topic for me, as I hate them so much, but I love them too.

:01 Here we have the champion "G1" entering the stage with his trademarked Leap to Bullrush maneuver. And the crowd goes wild!!! The tension is palpable as the fighters circle each other. The animosity between these 2 go back almost 10 years, as they were founding members of MMA's own G-Unit, but split after the champ was "allegedly" caught monkeying around with the challenger's wife. :29 both fighters step to their corners as the ref finalizes the rules. And Here We Go. Action starts at :34 with a quick blitz takedown attack by G1. :35 The challenger "No-No" postures up, defends, & tries to initiate the clinch. :37 G1 pushes away & follows up with a flying knee that is blocked. :38 "No-No" with a blazing single leg attempt, but just as fast G1 sprawls and defends. Everyone knows that the G-Unit camp was known for their world class wrestling and wrestling defense, and it is on display here. :39 They both square up in the center of the Zootagon. They're exchanging rights, lefts, hooks, hammerfist's. What a Donnybrook!!! :41 "No-No" connects with a clubbing, overhand right. G1 stumbles back but connects with a blazing right-left-right counter. You can hear the crowd is definitely in the corner of the challenger with their No-No chants. :43 "No-No" sensing he's got his opponent on queer street moves in for the finish. OHHH!!!! It was a ruse!!! G1 connects with a powerful Superman punch that sends "No-No" flying at the 43 second mark. The fighters are stopping. Did the ref call the fight? Is the fight is over? What's going on? There's still 4 minutes left in round one. Wait, whats this? Both fighters are leaving the zootagon. They're just walking out without finishing the match, or hearing the decision. They are still jawing back & forth as they head out of the arena. Both fighters have been disqualified. This is unprecedented. UGC president Dana's going to be pissed.

If by "something" she meant a hail of tranq darts, fine. Nothing much would stop that short of leathal force at that point. Powerful creatures.

Just got off work and very pleased with these replies lol. Nice break down of the fight btw. And yeah that chick is crazy to think they'll just throw a zookeeper in there to split em up. That's just asking to see a brutal murder, one hammer fist or overhand would bust yur head like a grape. I don't even feel entirely safe when I see silverbacks at a zoo. I feel that if they really wanted to, they could break the glass and really fsu. If I saw one in the wild, old gods forbid I'm backpacking through an African forest, I think my heart would explode out of pure fear.

Ed_Stark @Ed_Stark check the Silverback vs. Grizzly thread, I posted some sweet videos of silverbacks in the wild with humans.

Those guys were both beasts. So fucking athletic. Holy shit at the leap punch at the end.

I saw that, shit was crazy. I never understood why some people go out of their way to see wild gorillas. What if they're having a shitty day and decide to take it out on you? You're screwed

Human beings are fragile. It's a good thing we have the brain power to invent weapons and enclosures to keep us safe because without them we are food for practically everything.
