Which of these powerhouses take a battle to the death?

I've searched and got some that say either or so I ask this community.

In my opinion I would think the Silverback would take it based off agility and having pretty much four arms to use.

What do you think ?

Silverbacks mostly do dominance displays and primates go into shock easier than other mammals, and a grizzly has 11 cm claws. As much as I love gorillas I would have to choose the Brown Bear

Silverback-Weighing in on average anywhere from 400 - 600 pounds, they can stand up to from 5"6 to a bit over 6" tall on the ground, with arm spans exceeding up to 8.5 ft.

Grizzly-Weighing in at anywhere from 800 to 1500 pounds, in extreme cases over 2000, they stand on average at 8 ft tall and in some cases have stood up to 10 ft tall.

There's no way to actually prove which is stronger pound for pound. You can analyze their skeletons and muscular system anatomy and make educated guesses, but it's not like we can get 50 silverbacks and 50 male grizzlies togethor and make them have bench press competitions. But I saw a top ten thing on Nat Geo that had the bear at 10 and the Gorilla at 8. And TV never lies homey.

I'll say, as a human I'd rather be attacked by a bear. I feel you hear more stories of people surviving bear attacks than gorilla attacks.

There is no documented case of a wild gorilla ever killing a human.

You have to go looking for gorilla troops and you have rangers there to tell you how to behave. If the silverback gets angry he usually just pushes one or two people around and then realizes they are no threat.

Now, if you push them or fuck up I'm sure they would have no problem tearing you apart:

Grizzly vs Tiger is the only matchup that is even remotely interesting. Brown bear makes extremely short work of any unarmed primate. Bear is bigger, stronger, deceptively quick, and have a killed instinct the gorilla can't even dream of.

Grizzly and if you think otherwise then stay indoors and avoid contact sports.

It's not close. Grizzly would easily decimate a gorilla. Bigger, stronger and MUCH better at fighting. Even if they were the same size, I'd pick the grizzly.

Leigh @Leigh do you remember when I trolled you on the OG into thinking I believed a game pit would beat a leopard?

No but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I read a lot of stupid shit on the OG and that would have been typical.

I had you going for a few posts. I think what finally gave me away was when I claimed that they used Pitbulls to sack Rome and storm Berlin.

I reckon in real life, the grizzly would run off, they're pussies.
Locked in a cage, I would choose the grizzly to win. They're a lot heavier, better wrestling, and their thick, loose, heavily furred skin gives them a lot of protection from bites. I don't know much about gorilla skin (we should go hunting!), but i would imagine a bears teeth and claws wouldn't have too much of a problem slashing it up.

This is how I imagine the fight going down. The gorilla charges in and they clinch straight away, the bear, way taller and more top heavy leaning down on the gorilla keeps the gorilla's teeth away by holding him at bay with a rape choke with his left paw while subduing the gorilla's left hand with his right paw, the gorilla trying to hammer fist the bear with his free left hand but all in vain as the bear bites the fuck outta the gorilla's neck and shakes like a dog ripping chucks (and the life) from the gorillas neck.

Gotta go with the grizzly.

What about a polar bear vs grizzly? I think they are bigger and supposedly more aggressive than the grizzly.
