What a strange response. I never said that all cops are bad. So a few bad apples let the insurrectionists in the capital?
i said cops follow orders, you pointed out that cops break the law without consequence.

To which I replied with the standard boot-licker response, which is that it's only the outliers that don't follow orders.
The cops who let the demonstrators (Gen Milley is an insurrectionist, for reference) in to to the Capital were following orders. Probably the orders of the 'deep state commanders' like Gen Milley who are the real benefactors of this over-statement of activity and purpose on Jan 6th.

when the BLM protestors attacked the PDX courts and stopped the administration of law, insurrection or demonstration?

I think you’re confused on what I said then. How is it that there weren’t “bad apple officers at the capital building? Because there were officers who were trying to stop them.

This conversation isn’t about BLM. It is about the capital insurrectionists. What happened in Portland(where I live) was rioting. I suppose you can call it an insurrection, since they were trying to burn down the Federal building, but again, this isn’t the conversation we’re having, you’re deflecting.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re saying that all those officers were actors? You don’t think it’s even remotely possible that those were real officers, who have their own biases and were upset by the election results? They were just being told to let the rioters in?

I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling.

To claim an attack on a court house is an attempted uprising against govt authority is a bit of a stretch of the imagination.. by the legal definition.

Would one say an attack on an empty court house was a full on rebellion against the govt? If they would have succeeded, would that have brought down a significant part of the govt?

not trolling (ever) and not deflecting. I see the parallels, except one mob was attacking with weapons and coordinated violence a place that was defended by local cops and made no progress. Another mob pushed past a few barricades and walked in to the national capital (in session) and "overwhelmed" the defenses. People who were dying of heart attacks from the excitement overcame our nation's defenses, FFS.

i think it's more likely that they were told to stand down. I can't imagine that an unarmed mob of a couple thousand people can breach the building if they lock the doors and mount a defense. But all of those officers to be acting on their own bias in defiance of orders?

no way. we'd have heard about it from the people who issued the orders.

say his/her name?

also, it's disingenuous to quote a number "injured" when a skinned knee from tripping on the steps is an injury.

it doesn't measure the violence.
Brian Sicknick. And you know what, he died the day after, so I guess you’re right.
