My understanding is that each person can only receive one civil judgment against them under the law. The doctor should have confessed to a friend who "sued" him thereby blocking any other lawsuits coming.

But I suspect this is all a goal of bringing The Texas law to court
Have you ever performed an abortion?

If not, would you?

Don't be coy, motherfucker.

No I haven't.

I could be persuaded to learn in the right circumstances but am comfortable not having to make that my work. Its unfortunate work like many other things in medicine.

Jonathan F. Mitchell, the architect of Texas’ abortion ban, submitted his own brief over the weekend pushing the court to not only overturn Roe but other precedents protecting abortion access and what he calls “court-invented rights to homosexual behavior and same-sex marriage.”

Time to increase the numbers on the supreme Court.

I'd go for Beyonce. Hillary and Obama.

Jesus. Are there still people who think foster kids or adoption and abortion are equivalent to each other?

i think it's more about the hypocrisy of "Right To Life" actually being "Obligation To Birth".

nobody cares about the kids, born or unborn.

That's a fair point, but it makes "muh foster kids" a hypocritical analogy.

why? you can argue for a right to choose and an effective foster care system using the same data.
This is correct. However it's clearly not the argument being made.*

*it's not right to choose, it's the right to get an abortion.
