As for 2 year olds.. not sure what’s the norm in America but up north of the border, we can take 18 months of parental leave after the mother has accessed a couple months of maternity leave. After we burned through the parental leave and both returned to full time work, little man started day care. That runs 2-4, then kindergarten.
