Is that where you find and recover old logs at the bottom of the lake through a combination of diving, dredging and high strength mechanical winches. that are all preserved and you make a nice table out of it?

I saw that once. The things they make out of that wood are conidered antique. Experts that exam such things look at the wood and estimate how old it is. I guess new wood and old wood look diffrent.

The main problem with old wood is that it's not as reliable as new wood. It's soft when you want it hard and lacks the longevity of new wood.
