That was everything for the prosecution.
The gun charge was all they had.
State law had a refusal of rights & case built on carrying as "inciting", nullifying his right to carry.

They now have nothing, as they did from the beginning, never should've been charged or harassed.
There's never been a clearer more documented & witnessed example of self-defense recorded. It's now a perfect case study with the remainder simply academic setting precedent.
i think you're right, but I'm not about to underestimate the ability of 12 people to rationalize a "guilty of something" charge so they're not responsible for the Peaceful Riots of Violence that the media has been warning them will happen if they return Not Guilty.

i'll be waiting for the verdict like

I think there were only two real things that made defense questionable:

1> The first shooting. If the first shooting is a bad shoot then everybody else is simply chasing a criminal. No further shooting is justified.

2> If he is there with an illegal weapon in the commission of another crime such as a felony perhaps some sort of law could combine the deaths as unjustified due to the commission of a crime.

The first one seems to have come very clear once there was continued witnesses and videos before the case even got started.

The second one takes a lawyer to know if there's anything there and I would never put it past a prosecutor to continue for the trial due to a detailed understanding of the law that I could not fathom.

Once it became clear that the first guy had earlier interaction with Rittenhouse and was advancing on him I think that closed out this case. And surely the prosecutor knew trying to link the deaths with gun charges would fail.
if having the rifle isn't provocation, then I think that it was obvious that Rosenbaum was 'laying in wait' for KR, or at the very least exceedingly opportunistic about the choices he made and how they put him back in contact with KR.

and are you saying morally or legally in (1)? because if you've unknowingly committed a crime, and people are articulating actionable threats to cause you grave injury or death (not "drop the gun", but "FUCK HIM UP"), in most places you're legally (and IMAO morally) justified in defending yourself.

and I think the "felony murder" is applied far too liberally...that's a hold over of Biden-era criminal justice.

And that's it.
If the gun charge was truly dropped, there's nothing left.
Prosecution has no case, media frenzy and "aided" unrest to follow.

There's quite a few things there but here's my punchline on guns...
If your gun goes anywhere but your house, tough shit on ignorance of the law.
The moment you walk out the door you enter serious shared decision making with the rest of society. I cry zero tears for somebody taking their open carry weapon to a riot and finding out later that they accidentally violated the law.

National guard at the ready because the leftist mobs that hate america won't be able to cope if Kyle's found not guilty.

If Kyle is found guilty there will be no riots because the people who support kyle are the same people who support america.

It's up to the jury now. Let's see how well jury selection went in this democrat city

This has become bigger than kyle imo. This is just as much about the medias lying narratives they use to brainwash and divide americans.

Expect fair reporting from people like this?

I think we should just burn Kenosha down and call it a day.
They've proven their skills as arsonists abundantly.

And in case folks still don't know, Wisconsin & Minnesota were test beds #1 & #2 for Common Core Curriculum, phase 1 of the Critical Race Theory agenda.

Hardly.

How do you know he doesn't have PTSD?

It works both ways.
I think panic attacks are pretty common with PTSD, changing objective facts about the incident...not a thing.

Maybe one of the trauma medics or nurses can chime in, not my specialty so maybe it's a thing.

after the first night of protests, there was a video of all the "destruction" in Kenosha, and it was like 3 buildings and the cars burned in the CNN video.

I think we should release a mass of golden retrievers into the area and bomb the place with hugs and happy trips to the park?‍?

Imagine a C-5 Galaxy flyover with 50,000 tiny little parachutes streaming down to earth.
In each one, a partially crippled kitten hungry & waiting for adoption.
And in an instant an angry mob is forced to look at the true state of their heart, rather than contrived theatrics.

It touches our humanity. Fluffy things. Puppies, kittens, huggables.
Small animals with big eyes hit us in that protective way.

If only we had a leader who would address the Nation about it in a non partisan way, a President who could reassure us, remind us we're all Americans.

His name was Ron Paul, to a lesser extent Rand.
Banks run the government though, they like to install Presidents that affirm to the rest of the "elite" that there are no wild cards.

Fat chance on allowing the installation of a guy who's been shouting audit the fed! for 40 years.
