I hate the name for it but a few years ago I got into "urban exploration."

I've been in a few old malls that have shut down and been abandoned. There's a sweet old school near me that's spooky as hell but pretty awesome.

I don't check things out as often as I once did but there's an old abandoned hotel in the middle of the mountain range near Charlottesville that I'm dying to go investigate but it's going to be tricky because all of the roads to it have also been shut down.

i just caught a little of it, doing some programming and some accreditation paperwork, just flipped over to it this afternoon.

I've always been fascinated with empty buildings in pretty much all forms. Growing up I would always go check out houses as they were being built just to investigate.

I'd stop and go check out old farm houses off the side of the road.

There's big online communities that talk about various abandoned places that people should check out. The down side to that is once more people know about it the more likely it is for idiots to fuck them up.
