Got our limit of dungeness crab on Thursday(12 per person), they are fat right now and abundant.
We let it go. Probably should’ve taken it, because it was a hatchery fish, but someone else will get it.
Nice, a healthy release(looks happy in the picture) is always nice...great looking fish
U ever get any of that Oregon Coastal bounty? U like dungeness crab?
I may be buying a small boat to do 4-5 crabbing trips per year and some other opportunities.
If I get it I would roll a couple of the PNW guys on a few crabbing runs, could be fun.
Went on a friends boat and we(3guys) hauled in $1,200+ market value of crab in a few hours and it was fun...pain the ass to clean/pick but it is really good eating.
I’ve never done any crabbing, but I’m interested in doing it. I have a few coworkers who go in tillamook area as well as the Newport area. They seem to crush it.
I had only done it from a dock or jetty until a few days ago.
Lot of fun and it is such good eating if you like crab.
I was just south of Newport in the Waldport area.
Stable boat working 6 pots in calm water.

Look at the terrible structure of that shitty fire.
Apparently his car broke down and he was stranded in the woods for a couple of hours. When he was taken to hospital the doctors found that he had eaten 3 kinds of poisonous mushrooms, and had stuffed poison Ivy in his shirt to try to keep warm.

I'm finna set up my trail cam in a new location. Got a locking cable to keep it secure.

If they are in the middle of nowhere and the person wants it, they'll get it. But any type of lock is better than none.

I’m bored….what’d you expect from me! Plus, someone needed to acknowledge his fishing skillz. I actually did a little ice fishing as a kid and it was a blast (northern Wisconsin). It’s a bit nostalgic with his posts because that is long gone for me down here in Tejas for a couple decades
