A mid 2000s BMW was pulled off the road broken down this morning and as I drove by I felt something get caught in my tire. At first I thought it was a flat or something as I was going slow and could tell tire was off. I pulled over and with a set of pliers pulled this from deep in the treads. Lighter for scale is standard size.

That's part of the indicator mechanism, which is a sacrificial part in any BMW.

How big is the lighter?
Put something next to it, for scale.

So I just took a scan of this fingerprint, entered it into the interpol website and it matched with an Oliver lown, main Road, kesgrave, Suffolk.
