Crazy to think that Derrick Henry was something like 200 yards clear of Taylor when he got injured, he was on for another insane season.

ESPN just ROASTED Urban Meyer on their Countdown show.

Randy Moss. Rex Ryan. One of those Hasselbeck dudes. Ted Bruschi.

Some highlights:
Clown show.
Joke.
Glad Trevor Lawrence won't waste any more of his time with this guy.
We knew he was going to fail.
You can have all the wins in the world, but you can still be a loser.

Fucking Roasted.

I read Meyer was alternating first team days between Trevor Lawrence and Gardner Minshew.

Not allowing your franchise QB to play with the first team for half the week. Fucking brilliant.

He was definitely over his head in - as Rex called it - "The Men's League"

Say what you want about Belichick, but he was smart enough to get rid of the veteran so that the focus could be shifted to his franchise QB.

Yep. There's only two ways to do it. You draft with the intention of the rookie sitting and learning or you go all in with the rookie. Anything else is just dumb.

When are you talking about?
Last night's game.
9 minutes to go. 4th and goal from the 7. Down 20-7. Kicked a FG to make it 20-10.
Not the right call there in my opinion. Either way (made FG or not converting the 4th down) NE is still down 2 scores. I'd sooner go for it there, and if you don't get it, you are still down 2 scores but Indy has to go 93 yards.

Ended up not mattering all that much because Jonathan Taylor is a beast.

And I just realized I wrote my criticism wrong on my post.
My stance is he should have gone for it. He didn't.
They didn't lose the game because of that call. They lost it because Jonathan Taylor broke off for 70 yards with 2 minutes to play.

The defense had been playing well before that.

The Dolphins forgot on their first defensive series that cover zero has been the key to their success.

They seem to have righted the ship.

You don't kick a FG when you are down 2 scores with 9m to go in the game. Because after the FG, you are still down 2 scores.

NE forced a punt on the next possession and scored a TD. Taylor didn't score the TD until there was about 2 minutes left. Even if they forced a punt, they would have had to go 70+ yards in under 2 minutes.

You can make those calls with Brady. Pretty risky with an avg QB.
