General 2021 NFL Thread

It's a great opportunity for the Dolphins to keep the streak alive and get a winning record on the board for the first time since week 1. The Saints will never be weaker than they are now, many key players out.

We were 3-point underdogs. Then Taysom Hill caught covid and we became 2-point favorites lol

Given the number of times Mayfield has thrown the ball at players in green and yellow, it's incredible that the Browns are driving for the go ahead points with two minutes left.

I expect them to get close to winning before Mayfield throws a pick.

Never underestimate Cleveland's ability to fuck things up.

never underestimate the referees' ability to push a narrative.

NFL stopped being a competitive league a long time ago, they should just merge with WWE and be done.

They do swing games big time

Baker also was just horrible today, arm was weak and he kept throwing it to the defense

Doesn't excuse eating that flag but damn if Mayfield looks shitty lately, I do think it is mostly related to his injury

It was a bullshit call but they happen all the time in every sport.

he threw 1 interception, the receiver fell down on one, and the officials turned a blind eye to a PI and a Hold.

regardless, that missed call on the last pick was inexcusable. You don't get to that level of the NFL and miss a WR1 being held out of his break in the last minute of the game. You just swallow your whistle like you swallowed Goodell's load to get the job.

He threw 4 picks total, and Green bay's safety dropped one Mayfield put right into his hands.

Horrible day for Mayfield.

I didn't watch the whole game, you are probably correct
but when I did watch, baker was spraying that ball softly to GB

I agree with the narrative part

It has been a thing and only got worse when they went to centralized replay

watch the replay, frenz.

that was literally the back judge's job, to watch the slot receiver on a pass.

he was standing 15 yards away and looking directly at the correct receiver.
Literally his job in that situation is to watch that receiver and call PI or Hold.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were trashing the NFL gameday guys for wearing heavy coats in Los Angeles while fake snow flutters across the screen.

Understandable as Buck/Aikman were freezing their balls off in Green Bay.

Funny as shit.

I was at my in-laws and had to do a double take. Fake snow. Heavy ass winter jackets. And palm trees gently blowing in the breeze in the background.

I see Lamar Jackson is out, so the Bengals will have to win by at least two touchdowns in order to not embarass themselves today.

It will be way tougher for the Dolphins tomorrow, as the Saints have made a deal to bring in superstar and potential league MVP QB Blake Bortles in a desperate attempt to not be utterly humiliated!

We finna have to cheer for the Bills today, unfortunately. If the Pats lose today and we beat them in the final game of the season (we have to win out to have a chance at the playoffs), we have a tiebreaker edge over them.

Considering we lose a tiebreaker to Buffalo, it shames me to say it, but go Bills.

Bengals always struggle with late QB changes/backups. Always.

Put your money on the Ravens. It's a slam dunk.
