Even enlarging for a 99% interval omicron is almost assuredly a great majority of the cases.
Can you please explain to me how the other variants disappeared so quickly?

Current assumption is that anybody that is recovering from any of the three dominant strains of covid that we've had Wuhan, Delta, omicron has some period of circulating antibodies that protect against all three.
Each has been successively more transmissible than the previous. This seems appropriate for expectations of viral evolution.
Punchline: The one that transmits the most will become the dominant strain. The others haven't disappeared but they are having a hard time finding hosts that are not already recovered with circulating antibodies or vaccinated.

You create rules for entry for foreign nationals. One of them allows medical exemptions to the vaccination requirement. Decisions on exemptions are made by an independent medical body.
Djokovic gets such an exemption. Reason not made public bc of privacy laws, obviously.
People get upset so the leader of the country seemingly reneges on the already granted exemption but only after Djokovic takes a cunt of a flight to Australia.
Make rules/laws and stick to them. Shit makes you look like a banana republic.
