It was obviously stolen.
But no, I do not believe that giving back the land and dropping the occupation would work (in isolation). The Palestinian people overwhelmingly vote in terrorists. Hamas won the election, with Fatah, the previously elected party, coming in a close second. The remaining votes went to other terrorist organisations, like PFLP.
