In 92’ after the chargers beat the chiefs in the playoffs. Fans were pouring champagne down my throat as my dad drove out of the parking lot. I was 14
Good old days of Jack Murphy Stadium
That sounds awesome lol. The only difference is this chick is insufferable along with Mahome's gay (I'm not gay guyz lulz) brother. This chick won the lottery getting knocked up by Mahomes but time will tell if he stays with her when he could have hourly upgrades and atleast they won't be a fraction of a nightmare she is...

Historically, a third victory over a rival has been rare in the NFL
True. And while they haven't played them 3 times in a single season recently, they have swept them the last 3 seasons putting them at 6-0 vs the Rams in recent history.

It could easily change. The Rams are silly talented and traded for and bought the farm this year... But... Momentum isn't on their side.

Either way, I want the Chiefs to lose almost as much as I want the Niners to win.

6 in a row against that roster is pretty wild

I am rooting for Von but I don't think I can root for the Rams

Also a fan of the Shanahans, He would have been the broncos HC but the acting Owner(Joe Ellis) Vetoed elway's decision to hire Kyle because Ellis still had beef with Mike Shannie

Yep and fuck the chiefs

just saw where a couple ticket sites are reporting that almost half of their sales for the Rams/Niners game is coming from Northern California.

it's gonna be Scarlet Fever up in SoFi.

Wouldn't season ticket holders, and those who have purchased tickets to home games this season, be given precedence? Can the away team fans just spam the ticket sites and snatch up all the tickets?

Season ticket holders would get first grabs. But that's a tiny fraction of available seats.

For playoff games especially, the tickets sell out almost immediately, a good percentage of them going to re-sellers.

The 49ers' fanbase is much larger than the Rams' fanbase. Even though the 49ers went to the Super Bowl only two seasons ago, their fans are more passionate and are more willing to pay for marked-up tickets sold via resale outlets.

Idk what the overall numbers would be bc idk each county's population, but going by ticket sales in each county, one can see how much more popular the Niners are than the Rams

the Rams went a step further, restricted ticket sales to only billing address in LA county/SoCal.

didn't help. It just means that the margins are higher for re-sellers, so everyone in those zip codes gets tickets and puts them on StubHub.
it didn't increase the fan base, just the scalper base.

:)

Tennessee tried to do this last week to keep Cincy fans from making the 4 hour drive south. Not sure how well it worked as Cincy had a decent amount of fans there. Most of those sales are via scalpers anyway. They don't give a fuck who buys them.

Plenty of Cincy fans making the trip to KC. I know plenty of people going. But my guess is there will be but a few orange and black specs in a see of red.
