have you really never seen video of them breaking windows, spraying tear gas, etc?

have you seen the videos of cops opening doors, of cops pulling back barricades, of cops welcoming them in, of the them pulling cops back from the crush of people and protecting the cops...

remember when the insurrection stayed inside the velvet ropes?

Beating up multiple cops and traumatising them to the extent that they committed suicide in the days and weeks after, but yeah....... they did nothing wrong.

??

i am not surprised that some of the cops were part of the insurrection. they should be fired

and the "peaceful" people should be charged with lesser crimes than others. but they are still criminals

so you want the members of the House and Senate appropriations committees, and the Sargent at Arms for each body, fired? We can charge them as co-defendants with insurrection conspiracy charges?

who is actually accountable for the Mayor of DC not requesting the National Guard, or for the Capitol Police standing aside?

McConnell differs with Trump on Jan. 6 pardons
"I would not be in favor of shortening any of the sentences for any of the people who pleaded guilty to crimes," McConnell told reporters when asked about former President Trump’s statement over the weekend that he would consider pardons for people who tried to stop the certification of President Biden's victory in the 2020 election.

“The election of 2020 was decided Dec. 14 of 2020 when the Electoral College certified the winner of the election. What we saw here on January the 6th was an effort to prevent the peaceful transfer of power from one administration to another, which has never happened before in our country.”

McConnell noted that 165 people linked to the violent storming of the Capitol more than one year ago “have pleaded guilty to crimes.”

Ex-White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany turned over text messages to Jan. 6 committee
"1 - no more stolen election talk," Fox News host Sean Hannity texted McEnany, according to the records. "2- Yes, impeachment and the 25th amendment are real and many people will quit."

"Love that. Thank you. That is the playbook. I will help reinforce....," McEnany replied, per the documents.
