At least I heard they got the best German food.
I think he is just saying that to entice you. As if German food is tastier in Canada compared to actual Germany.

(I typed out a whole story about Poland, but it's not relevant, so)

What about Poland?
During my visit to Poland in 2007, we stopped at a small rest area in the middle of nowhere that had a small café window. My best friend and I couldn't figure out how to say "sausage" in Polish, and we couldn't ask the chaperones since we were supposed to keep kosher. We asked our guard and the bus driver, but their English was about as good as our Polish. After like 10 minutes, we somehow all got on the same page.
Boy did we feel dumb when they said "kielbasa."

It was fucking delicious and SO worth getting in trouble for not keeping kosher and holding up the entire bus... again (we were ALWAYS late, always holding up the bus... we almost got left behind once).

She is the biggest face of the Belarussian resistance right now AFAIK.

Her husband was a promising presidential candidate in 2020, but was arrested and sentenced to 18 years in prison.
She brought their children out of the country and then took over the candidacy.
Many of her helpers were arrested as well and she fled the country shortly after the "election".

She wants to take over from Lukashenko and hold real elections. Her trying to take the lead is not new, but of course this situation gives new reasons for that. Belarussians are not really keen to fight Ukraine either it seems.

I think she lives in Germany right now tho, so it's not like she is in the country actively making things happen. I doubt anything comes out of this alone. She might hitch a ride tho if putin's regime and subsequently lukaschenko's regime should falter.

I'm thinking of exchanging $200 or so into some Belarussian ruble. It's pretty good rate right now.

There was a cup final at Wembley yesterday and the stadium was lit up in blue and yellow. There was a minutes applause for Ukraine too. The irony was on of the teams was Chelsea. Owned by Abromovich. An oligarch who is in Putin’s inner, inner circle.

Fucking Chelsea cunts.

The west needs to start planning on how to feed and water Ukraine as well as arm them. Supply chains are broken and stuff is dwindling.

Isn't London the capital of Russian oligarchs? Throw em out as well as all clearly dirty club owners. Might as well go back to fan-owned / democratically lead clubs.

Schalke just scrapped Gazprom completely, because they can.

It certainly is. You pay the Tory party some cash and you can do what you want.

Same as the Saudis and Emiratis. They pay the royal family. Same rules apply though.
