Hey Masato Toys @Masato Toys !

You know I might.

Im going to be using quite a bit of my photoshop time to make a new Nick Diaz video so it depends on how this works. Like how many images do you have to make and where do I post it? Is it gifs or just a photoshop?

Theres some solid gif editors here too. La Paix @BirdWatcher made some interesting gifs. just saw 10 Yard Shìte @10 Yard Shìte make a cool gif in the other thread. Not sure if they would like to enter too.

We had a photoshop subforum but not sure where that went hehe. some good shoppers there.

Priziesthorse @Priziesthorse is another good photoshopper.

That could be interesting if we had forums competing against one another as a team kind of thing. like:

mmacommunity vs sherdog vs UG vs masatos forum vs evilyoshida etc.

I tried creating an inter-forum photoshop club/league a few years ago but we never found the right momentum:

What they do at Sherdog is really great though, and I see no reason why we couldn't take the concept there. If anyone wants to join specifically representing TMMAC I think that would be badass and will do my best to warm up the scene there to the idea. I'll rep MT etc like you say.

The ISL is fun as hell but really tough, especially if ya gots kids like me. An event is decided, and you have 48 hours to submit a shoop based on something from the event. Winners are judged by the public and the brackets narrow.

I made it to the finals last round but got KO'd by Empty Emp with a Brady Bunch GIF, lol

This season I have sworn to try to keep my ideas simpler, as last round I got a little over-done. But there are some heavy hitters assembled so far so do what you like it won't be easy to collect the W's :D

Even if its too late for this season to start the forum vs forum idea, we should definitely go for it eventually somehow, its just too funny. I do have a few leads from the UG who have also expressed interest in the idea and are badass photoshoppers

Ya but Sherdog is having shoop tournaments!

I hate(d) Sherodg for a long time too, they fucked me over somethin royal a few years back. But I couldn't find the same creative energy elsewhere so I go back now just for the ISL, I don't lurk or post anywhere else on that board.

You might like MT forums... smaller than here, but certainly offering 'change', lol not likely to find a more anarchistic forum imo

Looking forward to building more creative momentum on ALL these boards, the idea of cross-forum challenges has always been ripe in my mind, would be lots of fun.

It would be awesome if we could get enough people here to participate in a contest against the UG, Sherdog, Reddit. I doubt many on Sherdog even know we exist lol. We are going to have to rely on lookoutawhale @lookoutawhale to lead the way & represent!

sorry for the late reply, was really busy these past couple days and I just finished up some Halloween theme variations for this site right now. Some middle of the night photoshopping heh.



That is intense. You have only 2 days to make a really creative gif from a recent event? that is something. How long did it take you to bang those out. A better part of an evening? im thinking with the time to find the material, cut it down and then edit or did you work on it both nights?

oh its all on Sherdog eh? I signed up there a long time ago. I remember we had a convo about that here:

It was the first place i ever signed up years back after seeing it under the fight finder. I got banned in my first 3-4 posts or something for photoshopping Wanderlei with his pants down getting ready to f@ck a KO'd Chuck. :laughing: I think the mod was was a Chuck fan. Then it said "Banned! Time limit - Forever!" hehe.

I signed up again with a new name thinking something went out of whack, got in to some debate about pound 4 pound rankings or something with another mod a few posts in again and then when i signed in again it said "Banned! Time limit - Forever!"

So then i went to the UG a little bit later. I was like that place is bonkers. Mods a bit too sensitive. So safe to say i won't be participating in the tourney there.

Odd side story here. A few months after I signed on the UG, DreamerMMA @DreamerMMA put up a picture of Sherdog owner Jeff Sherwood picking his nose

So i photoshopped him using 2 fingers



and then shopped the girl in front of him picking her nose, double finger action



and then Queen Elizabeth next to him picking her nose



and Jeff Sherwood himself showed up out of nowhere there on page 3! :fearful:

haha i was like oh shit! I remember him saying he doesn't even post on Sherdog because the forum is too crazy... and its his site too! He used to cruise on the UG because it was more tame. Go figure.

Any participation in the ISL imo has nothing to do with condoning or approving Sherdog as a whole or any other big forums for that matter, lol

I hate the Sherodg forums forever but I like the folks running the ISL.

Maybe its too late to change the brackets for this season but lets keep this idea alive and maybe plan it better for next season

The ISL is the best of the best. EOW came back for the belt with an arsenal of new FX skills, its crazy. I don't have time to make the epic GIFs anymore, I'm curious to see how many rounds I can steal with non-GIF ideas. I may have a chance in Round 2, I just submitted it this morning :D
