Bank cards don't need microchips.
Bank cards didn't need microchips some years back. All the current card machines need them now though.
The alternative for Russia is to make all new card readers and ATMs, which also need microchips.
The machines here all still have swipe options. It won't let you swipe if it detects a chip, but I don't think the Ruskies are going to have that problem.
Perhaps I assumed too much then, all cards need a chip where I live, have for years now.
It's not available in the UK due to it containing content which incites to hate.An hour thirty-five?

So what, they went around and took away people's non-chip cards?
Do the decent thing then and rip it repost here on a video hosting site.
Cards tend to be reissued every couple of years here, all the modern ones have chips.

Out of curiosity, does your bank card not also have a magnetic strip on the back?
There are extensions to most browsers that allow you to download a file version of a video, then you upload that to a site like streamable.
I checked and it still appears to have one, but all of the card readers at stores I go to seem to have slots to insert the card rather than the older ones that had slots to swipe though, and anything under £45 can be done contactless.
Perhaps the tills still have the swipe thing on them? It's been so long since I saw a card swiped.
@BeardOfKnowledge I know in 3rd world countries like Canada you still use these, but Russia is a far more technologically advanced country than that.
