Imagine if Will actually had the balls to slap one of the many pedo's or abusers there instead of a small comedian who has admitted to being on the spectrum.
Story goes Brad Pitt slapped Weinstein for saying something to Gwyneth Paltrow.

I need some shorthand to describe how this and Jon Jones feels the same. It's all so insincere in the same kind of way.
like when Alec Baldwin called his 11 yo daughter a pig and then said "should have used different words in parenting, I've had a rough couple years"

Meh. I’ll happily concede whatever point I was trying to make that prompted this as whatever Chris thought might happen isn’t really a hill I care to die on. I think we saw an overly entitled couple who willing told the world how fucked up their marriage is and provided another example for us and it was hilariously wrong. I’d allow it if it was another super skinny older guy like Snoop or Flava Flav and if the joke was actually offensive. I’m officially abstaining from all Will Smiths films (no real loss there) but I’ll continue to listen to him and Jazzy Jeff as to not turn into a super cancelling lefty.
I'm gonna buy Wild Wild West on VHS and DVD just to make up for your losses.

There's no sincerity in public relations. They don't write these things.
Then perhaps it's just they both have bad writers where I might have bought into it with a little more finesse and less justifying

That's another one. It's so shallow and smarmy. It doesn't even feel like a human apology.

That's part of why I found it weird that he became the toast of the town for doing Trump impressions on SNL. He disdains Trump, but is also the same guy. Of course then he shot someone to death. Going to be tough to spin that one.

Lloyd Irvin had a famous non-apology to the girl he raped.
"i'm sorry to my parents and teammates for all I've put you through"

The best character Alec Baldwin ever did was his character on 30 Rock. Because it's basically him with different politics.

There is a flip side to that coin. What if you do got me boxed in and I gotta put you down? Cause no matter what, you will not get in my way. We've been face to face, yeah. But I will not hesitate. Not for a second.
