Best thing Will could've done was walk out. If he really felt some way he would've walk out and said this isn't what we came here for. Took the high road and Chris would have been in a worse spot. But of course he didn't because he knew he was going to win. Imagine Will gone and he's not there to accept because of Chris's joke?

I have no idea why he would announce that shit to the world, he's worth more than a third of a billion dollars so it's not about the money.
