he did say putin needs to be removed. he then clarified that he was soeajing from his heart. but there is no american policy to have him removed.
he was asked the same questions, many times so one time he said "that never occurred." which is technically a lie. but hes not actually pretending that he never said putin shoukd be removed. it wss more of a "ive already explained what i meant. fuck off" type response

i hate biden more than anyone. but he is handling ukraine superbly imo.
When the President says "He needs to be removed", that's a pretty big deal whether he meant to say it out loud or not.

but his clarification makes sense. and i agree with it. putin needs to be removed. but not by america. renoved by the russian people
The clarification doesn't matter. That isn't something he can say. If Putin wants to use that soundbite to excuse his behavior, he's already done more with less.
It was careless and stupid. And still might have repercussions no matter how many times they try to walk it back.

Russia has said from day one that the US getting involved has nothing to do with Ukraine but is a undercover attack on Russia and Putin.
