But you posted almost entirely fake stuff about the laptop which is part of the reason that this story didn't stick. That same fake stuff was spammed on Twitter and elsewhere leading people to reject the whole thing. You've got a hand in why people didn't believe the laptop.

Less than 100 years ago, the vice president had no security at all. Granted, the vice president's role has been strengthened over the last decades, but still it's in start contrast to spending millions to protect a president's child who is an adult and not in government.

I'm ignorant to the amount of apparatus and staff it takes to provide security to an individual private citizen such as Hunter Biden. But it's kind of gross that both Trump and Biden were allowed to bill the secret service for them staying on their property and that the law requires that the secret service pay their rent.
You would think that receiving millions of taxpayer subsidized security would be enough not to then attempt to profit a few thousand to rent them a room. The story about the Trump's refusing to let the secret service use the restroom so they spent thousands renting a studio nearby just to go to the bathroom is ridiculous. The secret service agents are standing around in your house all the time. Let them take a leak and pay a house cleaner to come in. Instead renting an entire apartments just to go to the bathroom.

No, they can definitely write the article, but it’s just an interesting one when you look back on every administrations spending. Articles like that are meant to get people worked up. A majority of people don’t even read the article, let alone think about prior administrations spending, especially when it’s “their team”. Should the public have access to that information? Yes. Should news medias paint it in a way that deliberately gets people worked up? No, but they want the clicks.
