From watching the mister Rodgers documentary I get the vibe that he was at least bisexual he hired a gay cop on his show and somehow discovered the dude was going to gay clubs if you put two and two together that means one of his gay homies told him his employee was there.
Maybe he turned up to work one day with his tight assless cop uniform by mistake?
