Depends on the reason. The employer can contest the filing, but during Covid pretty much everything was approved.

I had a guy quit and apply for unemployment. I contested it and even sent in the resignation letter he wrote me. He still got his bennies.

How did you know he applied? Does the govt contact the last employer in America? Up here we just show our ’record of employment’ which states why the employment came to an end.

Fuck that. He's trying to game the system. Bennies should be for folks who need it in time of hardship. Not for lazy fucks who want to sit on their ass all day long.

I already answered that. Each case is different. If fired with cause it's usually denied. Nothing was denied during Covid though. Everything was rubber stamped.
