General 14 students, 1 teacher dead following mass school shooting in Texas

I can't remember the particular school shooting name but I remember a fairly recent one in Florida that did have a armed police officer as security that they paid a ton of money and he hide behind his car while the shooting happened.
I remember that as well.
It absolutely isn't a foolproof safety measure.
I think it was Parkland 3-4 years back. Not real familiar with those details.
Was that guy qualified for such a position?

Yeah it was Parkland. He went to trial for his inaction, I believe. The Coward of Broward, they called him. Scott Peterson, iirc.
Was an armed, trained sheriff's deputy on the scene at Columbine High too. Neil Gardner. They had an armed deputy posted at the school every day. He actually exchanged gunfire with the killers before they even set foot on the building. Even thought he hit one of them (he didn't).
So no, armed guards is not the solution.

I would as well. But anyone with a triple digit IQ can easily identify the flaw without a Google search. I mean you can argue that technically it's true - more little kids do get shot dead than cops do - but per capita, no that's a misleading statement and if I was his editor, he's gonna hear about it.

they need three walls with machine gun turrets, SAMs and long range howitzers. some A10s to strafe the baddies would be good. Obviously a full fleet of surveillance drones and a fully garrisoned mechanized battalion.
One of the 10 year old victims called 911 and was talking to the dispatcher when she was shot dead.
Exactly the same thing happened to 2 of my colleagues during the mosque shootings. People murdered while on the phone to them. I don't have too much patience or sense of humour about wankers making braindead flippant comments covering for these cunts.
