When it comes to weapons, no one ever asks "how are we going to pay for it"
When it comes to tax cuts for the rich, no one ever asks "how are we going to pay for it"
That question only pops up for spending programs designed to help lower and middle class
Case in point, bidens "build back better" had a lot of good stuff in it. The politicians as well as MSM always framed it as 1.75 trillion.
Defense budget was framed as 0.8 trillion
But here's the thing. Build back better was a 10 year bill. Defense is a single year bill.

So build back better would have been 170bn to Americans. Manchin and the Republicans said "fuck that. Who is going to pay for it?"
