Lot of talk about Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, Dwayne Johnson and Tom Hardy. All terrible choices if you ask me.

Cillian Murphy could potentially be a good choice, but he's too old if the franchise wants someone to sign on for 4-5 films.

Oliver Javkson Cohen or Tom Hiddleston would e decent although a bit old for a reboot role.

Jack Bannon is a decent actor (imitation game, fury)

Some folks are calling for Richard Madden (Rob Stark GOT) shit actor imo

All I figure is the actor should be young, british and not cater to cancel culture.
RuPaul or Caitlyn Jenner

I agree that whoever they choose has to be young enough to do a full run of films like Daniel Craig did. Craig was looking really old in the last one. He was 38 when he did his first one back in 2006. Ideally they would be mid 30s or younger.

Also, apparently they don't want an actor who has already got huge name recognition from leading roles in major Hollywood blockbusters.

That rules out Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, Dwayne Johnson, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy and Tom Hiddleston.

I don't really know who I'd want to play Bond, I didn't really know anything about Daniel Craig prior to him starring in Casino Royale and he absolutely nailed it.

You've not seen Our Friends in the North?

Wow.

Check that out mate. Its astonishing.

I stopped caring when Craig got the role, even though he was decent at ti

My favorite was Connery and I also liked Roger Moore(View to a Kill is a classic bond)
I think Brosnan was the best Bond, although Connery had the best scripts. Moore had the same snarky Bond as Brosnan, which I prefer.

Gerard Butler "This is Sparta!!!!" plus he hot in the action side of hollywood rn

or

Idris Elba he's proven himself in a lot of flicks and he is British
Idris Elba is 49, if he played the role for as long as Craig he would be in his mid 60s in his last film. Gerard Butler is three years older than that.

If you want to see why it's a bad idea to have someone in their 60s as the lead in an action film, just look at the infamous "fence jump" scene from Taken 2. Liam Neeson was 60 at the time, and in order to have him leap over the fence in spritely fashion, they used stunt doubles and 14 cuts to piece it together.

My favourite part of that scene is when the helicopter made the noise of a Stuka dive bomber as soon as a smoke flare was ignited inside the cockpit.
I timestamped it but that really is a great opening scene, I love that one because it is so weird with Walden as Zorin and Grace Jones pretending to be a feral animal. That is the only reason I think I like Moore as bond.

Apparently Jon snow returns in the TV show.
My friend texted me about this last night. This is a nothing burger

They just faced the long night and the realm is stable

What's he going to do? Fight a polar bear?

It's a ridiculously dumb time period to create an adaptation, which leads me to believe it's just a shady way of getting people talking ahead of HoTD
