As the economy is set up, it was killing it. I don't know how you fix the existing trickle up economy without blowing up some serious monopolies.

Gov't needs to do nothing other than raise interest rates to cool things off. They've done that.

Dumping an additional 17 billion into the economy is counter-productive to what the Fed is trying to do. They can't spend their way out of this mess - that's how we got here to begin with.

Oh I'm sure that will happen if we fall into a deep recession and industries start closing / laying people off.

If money is going to be dumped into the economy it needs to lead to a production of goods or it's completely counter-productive.
