I just got done making this mash from my pepper haul today and I accidentally touched the tip of my nose with something that had chili oil on it and my nose is on fire and won't stop running. I then went to rinse the molcajete and couldn't even stand over the sink as water was running because it was making me cough and sucking the oxygen out of me. This is going to be gnarly because it's half 7 pot buhtla, which got its name in Trinidad from being spicy enough to spice 7 pots of food.

It's basically a mortar and pestel, but made with volcanic rock. You can order Oaxacan food at traditional restaurants called molcajete, but it's just whatever dish they decide to serve within the vessel.
